The MDGLCC Certified Business Council (CBC) is a valuable resource for LGBTBE’s (LGBT Business Enterprise). We provide our member certified businesses with education, networking opportunities, tools and resources they need to succeed in the competitive marketplace. We work with the NGLCC (National LGBT Chamber of Commerce), the official third-party certifying body for LGBTBE certification, to connect our CBC business with available business opportunities through the NGLCC Engagement Center. We encourage our certified LGBTBE to attend the annual NGLCC conference to take advantage of educational workshops and matchmaking targeted to our certified businesses. The MDGLCC CBC also helps to raise awareness of the importance of minority-owned businesses to the U.S. economy.
