Future Proofing is a longevity driven program helping you to live well and age gracefully. When you attend a Future Proofing Workshop, you will never move the same way again.
This radically different approach to awareness and body movement will allow you to increase your strength and mobility, expand on your functional abilities, improve your health and move closer to your personal wellness goals, no matter your age or stage in life.
Future proofing is “the process of anticipating the future, and developing methods of minimizing the effects of shocks and stresses of future events”.
David Newton’s foundation in wellness comes from a lifetime of being active and being involved in movement, competitive sport and fitness, as well as having a passion about aging gracefully. David has been teaching seven days a week, upwards of 50 fitness classes and personal training sessions per week, for close to 40 years.
Future Proofing is a direct result of his understanding that oftentimes we are unaware of the damage that we are doing by not moving well, even when we workout daily. Future Proofing will challenge you to raise your level of awareness for proper foundational movement. So, when you show up to workout, or just go about your day, you will do so with greater connection and healthy movement. The body is designed to move, so when you figure out how to move well, which you will start to do when learning from David, you’re golden.
All participants will receive a future proofing workbook, a prop and nourishing snack.
