    This Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the Associate Director of Sales (ADOS) and the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) with business development and sales for tradeshows, meetings and conventions, consumer shows, and local event bookings for the Miami Beach Convention Center Campus. This entails achieving revenue targets, economic impact goals, and upholding exceptional standards of quality.

    This position focuses on prospecting, managing, negotiating, and closing booking opportunities within an 18-month window for an assigned national territory including the regional market in South Florida. Moreover, this role involves actively seeking business development opportunities and outbound sales for corporate and social event bookings, as well as fostering robust networking connections with meeting planners and corporate clients to enhance client acquisition and retention. This role develops strategic business partnerships and engages with chambers of commerce, hotel partners and hospitality industry organizations. Additionally, this role entails working in tandem with the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and Sodexo Live! to maintain the MBCC sales calendar and assist in client servicing, negotiation, and contract management. This position also services and contracts prospective and repeat clients and facilitates transition of clients from sales to event planning.
