About Us

The City of Miami is the largest municipality in Miami-Dade County. The City of Miami’s Department of Human Services aims to unify the collaborative efforts of the City Manager’s Office, City of Miami Departments, and local Community Organizations to improve the delivery of human services to economically disadvantaged families and individuals. Acting as a gateway to self-sufficiency, the goal is to streamline efforts to promote and communicate citizen awareness of available programs while increasing the overall delivery of services.
